Cool Colors

First we talk about shapes! Shapes are a set of lines forming a figure. For example these buildings are rectangles, the stopsign is a hexagon and the lights on the stoplight are circles.

Next, we'll talk about colors. Colors are how our eyes receive light bouncing off of things. For example, here the doors are brown and the walls are lavender!

Next we will talk about hue! Hue is how our eyes precieve colors! For example, the bean bags and TV are both yellow, just different hues!

Next tint and shade. These two squares are the same hue, but different shades. This refers to the brightness and intensity of the color!

Next, is primary colors! They are colors that cannot be created by other colors. The primary colors are red, yellow, and blue, which are in the boxes on my shelf!

Lastly! Cool colors. They are colors with cool undertones and have a cold effect! Like the lavender walls here! Thanks for coming on this color journey with me! See you next time!

My name is Bob by the way! I'll be your tour guide on your color tour today!
