- This is the Romanov family. Nikolai II was born on July 7, 1854, in Nekouzsky Russia, with his wife Alexander, and his 5 children. One of his children who was his only son had a condition which was hemophilia where his blood doesn't clot. And his mother Alexandra was worried about his health because she didn't want him to die from bleeding out. So to help him Alexandra called a mystic healer named Grigori Rasputin.

- As Rasputin came to the palace Alexandra didn't know that this would lower her status in the Russian kingdom even more. As Rasputin came to be one of the most hated men in Russia. He was said to be a sexual man and not holy He did a lot of interesting things.

- As Russia was losing the war badly Nickolai decided to go down to the front to try and help out but it was rumored that Rasputin was actually the one making all the decisions and telling them to Alexandra since they had a friendly relationship together. Even though they had this relationship nobody liked Rasputin and wanted him gone so they tried to kill him with a lot of poison in a cake and with extra measure poison in the wine as well but this failed so they drowned him in December 1916

- But back at home, they didn't know that the women were getting tired of how things were. Around 10,00o women started roaming the streets protesting Peace and bread and down with autocracy because the prices were going up and many women needed to feed their very sick and hungry children. After a while, the women were joined by workers and by March 10 it was called a general strike and shut down all factories. Alexandra wrote to her husband on the battlefront This is a hooligan movement, if it were cold outside they would probably stay inside Nickolai sent an army down to town to shoot anyone if necessary but it ended up backfiring because the soldiers ended up joining the strike.

- After this, the Duma which Nikolai tried to get rid of met anyways. On March 12 is established the provisional government consisted of middle-class representatives. They urged Nickolai since he didn't even have the support of the army or the aristocrats anymore. Nickolai agreed and abdicated the throne ending a 300-year-old Romanov dynasty. The head of the provisional government Aleksandr Kerensky then decided to step in and carry on the war to save Russia's honor but this decision was a major blunder because it didn't satisfy the workers or the peasants and they were tired and wanted to end the war.

- The Bolsheviks were the ones who ended it all. The bolsheviks were a far-left, revolutionary Marxist faction founded by Vladimir Lenin that split with the Mensheviks from the Marxist Russian Social Democratic LAbour Party, a revolutionary socialist political party formed in 1898, at its second party in congress in 1903. These were the people who broke into the castle and murdered the Romanov family while they were drunk. It was very brutal. They shot the family multiple times and then realized that the jewels were keeping them alive then they stabbed them multiple times until they were sure they had died. Then they went and dumped their bodies and tried to hide it.
