- A refugee is a person who is seeking a safe place after fleeing war, violence or persecution.Refugees are protected by International Law.

- Refugees need food, shelter and basic opportunities. But after leaving everything behind and without any income many refugees struggle to survive.

- Sometimes refugees flee from countries that punish them for their beliefs, in such cases they can never hope for going back. They live in vulnerable condition in camps, on streets or informal settlements

- More than half of the refugees are children who have often lost their families. They have nowhere to go and no access to basic education and safety.
- I am 14 years old from Somalia and I want to go back home.
- Refugees often have to make a new life in safer countries but it is not easy and many of them do not survive the journey.We must accept and help all types of refugees.
