- The actors who will participate in the play go to a forest near Athens to rehearse. There they detail the play and plan on it.There they discuss the play and plan about it. In the middle of the rehearsal, Nick Botton, the main character, goes to a bush. Seeing it all, Puck, the elf who acts as Oberon's servant and jester, uses magic to make Nick's head look like a donkey's, in an attempt to make Oberon's plan go right.
- When Nick comes out of the bush the other actors get scared and run away. Thinking this was all a joke since Nick didn't notice his head
- Coincidentally, nearby was Titania's nest, who ends up waking up to the Nick. Bewitched by the magic flower, she falls in love with Nick the moment she sees him. After seeing him, the fairy queen goes to the actor and calls him to her nest where the fairies would give him what they could.
- Oberon realizes that Puck has squeezed the juice from the wrong Athenian and asks Puck to put it over Demetrius' eyes, who also falls in love with Helena. The two, Demetrius and Lysander, are fighting for Helena's attention, who doesn't understand. So the couples, tired, lie down
- Puck put the potion over Lysander's eyes
- Puck to reverse the potion and convince everyone they were just dreaming. Demetrius loves Helena now, so Hermia is free to marry Lysander.
