Jones with all his men and six others from Foxwood and Pinchfield entered the five-barred gate carrying sticks and guns in demand of recapturing the farm.
Snowball who had been long expecting this attempt to recapture the farm gave orders to the animals to prevent this from happening.
His first attack was taken ahead by the pigeons and the geese.
The second attack was done by Muriel, Benjamin, and the sheep. Snowball then faked a signal for retreat, trying to lower the enemy a little inside the farm, and as soon as they were in the yard three horses, three cows, and the rest of the pigs who had been lying in the cowshed for an ambush suddenly emerged.
Snowball dashed straight towards Jones, however, he was shot on the back as Jones saw him approaching. After all this Boxer the horse came and his very first blow landed a lad from Foxwood on the skull. The men who had come to recapture the farm ran for their lives.
Snowball and boxer were given medals and the sheep who died was given a solemn funeral
