- While Nathaniel goes off to work as a surgeon in the war, his wife Charlotte stays at home with the kids. During these times the women were told to stay at home while the men went to war. Even though Nathaniel was only going to be a surgeon Charlotte was was still constantly worried about him.
- Creation of the new gun
- As Nathaniel arrives to the base he sees soldiers coming in and out of camps, some without limbs. He sees horses and donkeys carrying water, medical supplies, etc... Suddenly he has a bunch of men in suits shouting at him.
- Americans trading goods for people
- It took about 6 weeks to travel across the Atlantic. They would use flatboats which could carry about 10,000 to 12,000 pounds. Trops would be packed super close together in rows facing each other with their guns or muskets standing between their knees.
- working on saving someones life
- The most important weapon invented in the american revolution is the Musket. It was a smooth-bored, single shot, muzzle-loading weapon. The average rate of fire was 3 shots per minute.
- These people are all getting traded for goods that are used in a daily basis like food, rope, and other essentials that are needed. The people aren't as needed so they trade then to work or fight in the war.
- Nathan soon realized after just after a couple hours that he wasn't going to get a break anytime soon. There were soldiers coming in with, missing limbs, blood dripping all over, etc.. At the end of the day one thing he learned was his awareness level should always be at 100%.
