- Maria finds a mysterious egg
- Huh?
- Maria takes the egg home
- Hi mom!
- Maria gets called down by her mom
- What is it mom?
- Maria was walking around the park trying to get home. When she saw a mysterious egg on a bush under a tree. She looked up into the tree above it to see if there was a nest but when she looked up she saw nothing. She wondered where the egg came from. She didn't see a nest anywhere around the park.
- Maria opens her hand revealing the egg
- Maria was curious what was in the egg so she decided to take it home and planned on researching it. She finally got home and when she entered she saw her so she greeted her and tried to go up the stairs. But her mom was confused, she never saw Maria in that much of a rush.
- The Next Day.
- Maria come down here her mom said. What is it mom? Maria answered. Her mom said Why are you in such a rush, you're never in a rush.? but when she said that she saw something white in her hand.
- The egg hatches.
- Maria opened her hand and it was the egg. Her mom was confused. Is that an egg.? Why do you just have an egg? her mom asked. Maria quickly came up with an explanation. She responded Umm, its for a school project. We have to take care of it.. Oh okay, you can go up to your room now. Her mom answered. Maria went into her room to do her homework and then went to sleep.
- Maria wakes up and gets dressed for school. Maria began looking for the egg until she realized she was gonna be late for school so she began walking to school. It was her mom's day off of work so she decided to stay home and clean. She began to clean the the bathroom when she heard a weird noise. She realized it came from Maria's room so she goes into her room. She goes into her room to investigate what is making that noise. She was shocked when she saw a bird coming out of a egg.
- Maria's mom was shocked and didn't know what to do. She doesn't know how to take care of a bird so she called the local animal control to take it and shelter it. Maria was just down the street from her house. She was confused when she saw animal control in her driveway. Maria then realized what might've happened. She ran into the house and into her room where she saw the cracked egg shells. Maria was sad that she missed the egg hatching and that she didn't get to keep the bird. The end
