- In the 5th grade, we had a math test. I thought that it was gonna be as easy as the other test that our teacher had given us. I was one of the first ones to finish.
- Climax

- I thought that this was the easiest test in the world. I was proud of myself at the end of the day.I went to sleep confident that got a good score on the test..
- Falling Action
- It was monday morning and I was getting ready to go to school. I was so happy because we were getting our test scores today. I entered class and saw that our test was on our desk. So I walked over to my desk and picked up my test.
- Resolution

- I picked it up and saw my score. I had gotten 40 percent. I was sad at first but then I was disappointed in myself. I had realized that I was just answering the questions in my head and not taking my time. We had the whole class to take the test and I finished in about 10 minutes.
- I went home sad and mad at myself. My mom asked me what was wrong so I showed her the test. She wasn't mad at me she was just disappointed in me. She told me to study more and focus more in class.
- Me getting this grade on my test has really made me a smarter person. This grade helped me understand that I can't expect good things to happen out of nowhere, I have to put in effort for the good things to happen.
