- Today Jake and Aly's class are visting Wasigton Dc for a School feild trip to learn about their U.S govermet.Their first stop is congress and their tour guide Tom will tell them more about it
- This is congress. Congress is part of one of the three branches that make up the U.S goverment. the legistlative Branch. Congress alot of power that allows them to do things like declare war, coin money, raise an army and navy, regulate commerce, establish rules of immigration and naturalization, and establish the federal courts and their jurisdictions. Congress also has the comerse clause.
- Well children the Comerse Clause is to regulate commerce with foreign nations which basically means they give a limited power to regulate commercial trade between persons in one state and persons outside of that state. There is also the Necessary and Proper Clause which make up the Implied powers. Implied power or the Alastic Clause is created due grants Congress power to pass any laws considered “necessary and proper” for effectively exercising its “enumerated” powers.
