- Hi CLT News! At Ardrey Kell High School, I recently presented a presentation on climate change. I talked about how government spending factors into climate and what the government can do to prioritize the health of our world. Currently, the Federal Budgetincludes $10.6 billion in the DOE climate and clean energy research, development, demonstration, and deployment programs. This is nearly not enough for the damage we have done and the budget needs to be reorganized by federal agencies and then approved by the White House and Office of Management and Budget.
