My name is Coral and I am a earth fairy. Today I have a training test to test my abilities. So why not come along with me!
First up, we have to get past these rocks! This is a pretty easy task since they have a definite shape and a definite volume! This means that they cannot flow at all like a liquid or a gas does
Coral is right, and if we take a closer look we can see that even the particles are packed tightly! You also may not see it but the particles for a solid vibrates in place too! The interaction between the particles are also very strong, solids basically have a stronger bond then the other states of matter.
Next, after we have finished crossing the rocks we must deliver this letter to the destination written on the note without going into the water or else it will damage my wings.
I think this is one of the scariest parts because liquid has an indefinite shape and the ocean is able to flow smoothly, a wave can come and hit my wing!
While we fly over to the destination, we can talk about the particles of liquids since we are crossing the ocean! The particles of liquids are pretty close like solids but they have enough space to move! When they move all they do is move around each other which allows them to flow easily. Also, did I mention that liquids also have a strong bond too! Not as strong as a solid tho.
