If the tennis team could report to the bus area now please.
When I heard the principal call for the tennis team, my heart started to race and I quickly made my way to the bus loading area.
Exposition
As we started to get on the bus, I quickly realized how nervous I was. I hadn't ate nor drank all day; I started to become very nauseas.
Conflict
Our team waited patiently in the parking lot for our coach to tell us when we played. But the more I stood there, the more nervous I got. What if I lost my match and we lost the state tournament?
Rising Action
This was the moment I had been waiting for all season. It was match point, I was down 5-6 in a tiebreaker for the third set. I went to hit an overheard, and... my nerves took the best of me and I hit the ball way out of the court.
Climax
On the way home, the team stopped for dinner at an old diner just off the interstate. The team tried to comfort me for my loss, but all it did was make me feel worse about losing it for them. However, the homemade milkshakes didn't hurt.
Well, you're just a freshman, you have 3 more years.
Falling Action
That night, after turning on my soothing playlist of crashing waves on a sandy beach, I dreamt of making it to the state tournament, again. And next time, we would win.
