  • Thou wretched boy that didst consort him hereShalt with him hence.
  • O sweet Juliet,Thy beauty hath made me effeminateAnd in my temper softened valor’s steel.

  • Is Romeo slaughtered and is Tybalt dead?My dearest cousin, and my dearer lord?Then, dreadful trumpet, sound the general doom,For who is living if those two are gone?
  • Ah weraday, he’s dead, he’s dead, he’s dead!We are undone, lady, we are undone.Alack the day, he’s gone, he’s killed, he’s dead.
  • O deadly sin, O rude unthankfulness!Thy fault our law calls death, but the kind prince,Taking thy part, hath rushed aside the lawAnd turned that black word “death” to“banishment.”This is dear mercy, and thou seest it not.

  • Romeo tried to break up the fight between Tybalt and Mercutio, by doing this he got Mercutio killed. In anger, Romeo killed Tybalt.

  • These times of woe afford no times to woo.—Madam, good night. Commend me to yourdaughter.
  • The Nurse comes to inform Juliet of Tybalt's death, at first Juliet thinks it was Romeo who was slain. Juliet realises that Tybalt would have killed Romeo if he didn't kill him so she forgives him.
  • Hang thee, young baggage, disobedient wretch!I tell thee what: get thee to church o’ Thursday,Or never after look me in the face.
  • Now, by Saint Peter’s Church, and Peter too,He shall not make me there a joyful bride!
  • Marry, my child, early next Thursday mornThe gallant, young, and noble gentleman,The County Paris, at Saint Peter’s ChurchShall happily make thee there a joyful bride.
  • Romeo visits Friar Lawrence after the events resulting in both Tybalt and Mercutio's death. Friar tells him that he should be grateful for his lightened punishment but Romeo believes that banishment is worse than death. The nurse comes and tells Romeo that he needs to comfort Juliet, and Friar makes a plan for Romeo to eventually come back to Verona.
  • Paris visits the Capulet's once again and asks for Juliet's hand in marriage. Capulet says that they can get married on Thursday.
  • Romeo leaves Juliet at morning. Then Juliet's mother comes in to tell her that she will be marrying Paris on Thursday. Juliet refuses, and her father gets very angry with her. He says he will make her live on the streets if she refuses.
