After our aly, France, fell to German powers, Great Britain's army was left to fend for herself under my command. We had two technological advantages to Germany, the radar, and the Enigma machine. Both made it hard for the Germans to launch surprise attacks and allowed for us to launch counter-attacks or attacks in general.
Battle of Britain
After France fell, I set my sights on Great Britain. In 1940, our air force began bombing Britain's airfields and factories, they then went for London to try and destroy their morale. Despite all this, Britain's soldiers continued fighting on and put up a surprising amount of resistance. We gave up on night raids as they were able to take down our planes with ease so we attacked instead as sundown. The fighting went on until May 10, 1941, when I decided to focus on the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe instead of the impossible to beat Britains.
Adolf Hitler
Soviet-Nazi Pact
Britain and France came to me to ask for assistance against Hitler's attacks, as I talked with them, I also talked with Hitler. We managed to come to an agreement to not attack one another. On August 23, 1939, Hitler and I signed a nonaggression pact.
As Italy invaded us, our emperor, Haile Selassie, went to the League of Nations in order to get assistance against the invasion. The League did nothing to aid us, implementing an economic sanction on Italy that did nothing as barely anyone enforced it. Britain allowed Italy access to our lands by allowing the Italian army to use the Suez Channel. Ethiopia was annexed in May of 1936.
Mussolini Attacks Ethiopia
I wanted to make Italy a strong military power, and to do so, I went out to conquer lands. The land which I chose was Ethiopia as they managed to resist Italian control in the 1890's. I went to avenge that defeat and won as their spears and bows could do nothing against my tanks, planes, and guns. After annexing Ethiopia, Hitler appreciated the attack and we formed a treaty called the Rome-Berlin treaty.
