In the Paleolithic Age Their food supply was unstable. They did not produce their own food instead they would hunt and gather plants like berries. They would have to follow their food once there is not enough food in one area.
The change from hunting and gathering to agriculture was one of the most important devolopments people had. When they developed agriculture this enabled them to make shelters more permanent, produce their own food, and have a stable food supply. They would settle near water to farm. Some would settle near the Fertile Cresent because of its rich soil. But when they where hunters and gatheres they had no stable food supply their shelters had to be temporary so the could find their food.
Naomi is harvesting while the mule is plowing the crops. And I am domesticating and using the animals.
In the Neolithic Age when we discovered agriculture we learned how to plant crops and domesticate animals which means to train wild animals to our use
When Neolithic people started having communities it changed everything. Their communities were much larger because they could settle permanetly, but in the Paleolithic Age theirs was only from 20-60 people. They now cared for one another and would have rituals for people. This also allowed them to cooperate with each other causing the work to get done faster and more efficiently. Since the work took less energy they could start inventing inventions to make their live easier and suitable.
The Paleolithic Age had no sense of community. They would work in groups and travel in groups but did not care about one another.
We are working together to make tools faster and efficiently. Now we have time to make other things like baskets.
I am working with my friend Nick harvesting the crops. With us working togeether we harvest more crops in the same amount of time if it was just me!
