- This civilization lasted from 3300 B.C.E. to 1700 B.C.E.
- Hi, this is the Indus River Valley.
- This civilization is near the Indus River.
- Our houses also have flat roofs that we hang out on because they are cool on hot days.
- Our houses are made of sun dried mud bricks. The mud bricks are weather resistant and keep us safe.
- Our toilets and shower system is very special. It consists of stone and clay pipes that lead to a sewer.
- Because of our sewer system we can have a private bathroom. Which is very nice.
- The Great Bath is very special, it is very sacred and it is special to bathe in it.
- When you bathe in the Great Bath it purifies you and cleans your soul.
- Seals are small stones we use as currency, seals are carved with different animals. We mainly use seals in trade or as charms to keep away the bad.
- We usually trade with Persia, Mesopotamia, and China. We mostly trade terracotta pots, beads, gold, silver, colored gems like turquoise and lapis lazuli, metals, flints, seashells and pearls.
