  • Hello, I my name is Gavin. I am a History student here at Valencia! I love history as a whole and everything that has brought us to what we know now.
  • I have studied many great anthropologists throughout my schooling and personal research. St. Thomas Aquinas is a notable one for me, given his arguments the 'Natural Law' theory which he created.
  • From what I know I think anthropology is the development of all things that effect us as people today or in the past.

  • There are many different aspects to Anthropology. These include cultural, archaeological, biological, linguistic.
  • See, Anthropology is a holistic study. Meaning it encompasses these different fields but they all interconnect which shape our experience as humans.
  • Oh wow! Much like a tree, how it has many branches but they all are connected at the stump. These individual studies also keep the entire tree alive and thriving, much like our society and understanding of how everything effects our own development.

  • Now you see I did know about Anthropology and what it encapsulates, but you never can know everything and refreshing yourself is key to a strong understanding.
  • Anthropology is extremely necessary and more than ever today. Take the Ancient Athenians, I look up to them in a lot of ways. They took ideas about culture, government, philosophy, and more into account so that they could grow themselves as best possible ways. They truly were some of the best Anthropologists.
