  • This is jake he is your average run-of-the-mill kid. He thinks he knows everything there is to know about American history. But boy is he in for a surprise.
  • I know so much about American history!
  • Like how the colonist fought the British  and saved America!
  • And also that America helped save the day in WW 1&2!
  • As you can clearly see the by the things that they teach me in school America is so great.
  • Wha! Where in the heck am I?
  • So you think America is so great huh?
  • Who are you?
  • I'm your wizard!
  • What the heck do you mean your my Wizard? And where are we?
  • I'm an all powerful educational wizard.
  • And we are in my realm. 
  • What do you mean REALM? And what is an EDUCATIONAL WIZARD?

  • WHAT IS A REALM?
  • My Realm can be WHAT and WHERE ever I want it to be.
  • I'm sorry Jake . I did not mean to scare you. You were just asking to any questions and we don't have much time.
  • I just have one more question, what do you want with me?
  • I am here to try and show you some of the things your history teacher won't show you.
  • What my school won't teach me?
  • You see Jake there are many horrible thing that have happened in American history that you know nothing about.
  • I'm going to use my realm to show you some of these things.
  • I guess so.

  • So you think you know every thing about WWII?
  • Of course, every history teacher I have ever had has taught me about WWII.
  • How much do you know about the formation of Nazi policy?
  • What?
  • Do you know how much American policy influenced the Nazi regime?
  • Influenced?
  • What do you mean influenced?
  • In the American south in the early 1900s there was a policy known as Jim Crow
  • COLORED
  • The policies heavily impacted every facet of life. And black and brown people life were terrible under Jim Crow.
  • WHITES

  • The Nazi's closely studied Jim Crow and implemented certain aspects of it during the Holocaust?
  • WHITES
  • COLORED
  • The Nazi's actually thought some of the American policies were a bit extreme. Like the one one drop rule for determining if some was black.

  • We were too extreme for the Nazis.
  • WHITES
  • If you cry now you won't have any tears for later.
  • Why would America do something like that?
  • The short answer is racism. That usually always the answer.
  • Alright off to the next spot.
  • You aware that Lincon helped to end slavey by sign The Emancipation Proclamation and helped to get the 13th amendment passed.
  • Of course, everyone knows that.
  • Did you know that it took four years and 750,000 deaths for America to do it?
  • And did you know that it took an Army of Union Soldiers to free them?
  • Did you also know that the 13th amendment was passed on January 31, 1865 and that the last slaves weren't free until June 19, 1866?
  • You are free!
  • The 13th amendment also affectively kept slavery intact as a form of punishment.
  • Making prisoners slaves under the letter of the law.
  • My teacher never said any of that to me.
  • Before you ask me why the answer is racism. It is always because of racism.

  • Have you ever heard of the Tuskegee experiments experiment?
  • That was me pretending to be shocked.
  • In 1932 the United States began an experiment to test the effects of syphilis on people.
  • What's wrong with that?
  • The participants were told that they would receive treatment for their ailments. The true purpose of the study was never to help but only to watch.
  • I wanted to show you all these things so that you would have a measured perspective of American history. 
  • America has done a lot of good things but its important to have a good perspective on your history's legacy.
