Storyboard Description
Arachne was a great weaver who's father created the thread she used to weave. People would assume that Athena taught her how to weave but she got mad because she worked very hard to get to the point she was. Someone watching said that Athena taught her and Arachne said that if she were to come down she would beat Arachne in weaving. After she said that Athena appeared from an old woman and challenged her. While they were both weaving Athena won and then stepped back to admire her work then realized Aranche was mocking the Gods and Goddess's. Then smacked her and after a few minutes Arachne started to shrink and become small and grey with 8 legs. This is how people believe spiders appeared
Storyboard Text
- "Surely Athena herself must have taught her"
- "If Athena herself were to come down and compete with me, she could do no better than I".
- Athena then appeared from an old woman and Arachne lead Athena to a loom and they started to weave, Athena won and stepped back to look at Arachne's work, saw she was making fun of the gods and stopped her
- Athena then smacked Arachne, right before everyones eyes Arachne started to shrink and soon grew 8 legs and started to turn grey, she then could weave forever
