- Durning the holocaust, the military in Germany led by Hitler had a plan to kill all the Jewish people. He did this because of some features Jewish people had.
- When Jewish people were in concentration camps they were separated from their families. They were starved for weeks and if they became useless, they would get killed
- In 1939 Hitler and the Nazis invaded Poland to take land and, in the process, he took Jewish people and threw them into concentration camps.
- Hitler killed Jewish people because he wanted power and disliked their religious beliefs. In the years 1939-1945 Hitler killed around 6million Jewish.
- This event still affects Jewish people today because of the horrifying things that happened. It also still affects them because of the horror their ancestors went through and the millions of people that died
- May 8th, 1945, the holocaust came to an end. All the starving and struggling Jewish people were let free and the likes of France, Great Britain and The U.S. took down Hitler and the Nazis.
