- At Brighton Elementary, auditions for the annual talent show have taken place. Many individuals anxiously wait in the hall for their name to be called. Alyssa and Jamie, two girls, prepare quietly for their tryouts. Alyssa locks her gaze on Jamie, who is rehearsing her dance routine. She scoffs and rolls her eyes, frowning upon Jamie's ability to dance. Jamie quickly notices and becomes self-conscious, causing her to stop dead in her tracks.
- Is she making fun of me?
- Suddenly, Alyssa's name is yelled out loudly by one of the judges. She aggressively pushes her way past the swarm of people, stepping onto the stage. She starts to perform a few gymnastic tricks. Unfortunately, Alyssa keeps messing up, falling and losing her balance during the process. This angers her, causing her to sob, begging for the judges to give her a second chance. After numerous hostile pleas, the judges give in out of sympathy, enabling her to try again.
- PLEASE LET ME START OVER!!
- Therefore, the judges decided, out of real fairness, for Alyssa to be disqualified from the talent show due to her unjust treatment. Giving Jamie the well deserved second chance to shine at the auditions.
