  • In 1918 Alcohol has been banned to reduce the corruption of citizens and to solve problems such as Crime and restore health of the people In Canada. By doing this Alcohol is officially on prohibition

Liquor companies became lucrative businesses by selling smuggling liquor into the United States And rum runners like Rocco transported 45 million liters of liquor into the United States. Resulting in 1921 provincial governments began to repeal the prohibition laws and replaced them with controlled liquor sales by the government
