  •  Knight
  • Samurai were warriors of medieval Japan. They received land and protection from a feudal lord in exchange for obedience and service. This made the samurai, vassals. Also, lords in Japan were called daimyos. A samurai's armor was both useful and beautiful. They wore a colorful, surcoat over their armor. They had a helmet made from many things like iron, wood, lacing and etc. A samurai had 2 swords. One was a long curved one, while the other was a short one. They also carried either a spear or a gun.
  • Knights were medieval European warriors. All knights were vassals. Their job was to give their service to their lords by fighting for them. They also had to protect the lord’s castles. In exchange, they received land and money. The lords protected their families, so this made the knights become more loyal towards their lords (noblemen) than the king. Knights wore armor made out of metal. Their armor was made to be as flexible as possible, while still being able to protect the knight from sword strikes. A knight also carried a shield for defense and identification. along with a longsword. A knight's horse also had armor and was trained for battle.
