- William Golding'sLord of The Flies
- A plane with a bunch of school boys crashes on a deserted island and two of the main characters Ralph and Piggy meet. They are both twelve. Piggy has asthma and Ralph doesn't know what that is.
- "Ass-mar?" (4).
- Ralph and Piggy find a conch shell. Ralph blows into it and lots of boys come including Jack and Simon. The boys make Ralph their chief and Jack the leader of the hunters. The first thing they do is make a fire. The older boys decided to call the younger boys littleuns.
- The littleuns saw the corpse of the pilot flying their plane still attached to his parachute and thought it was a monster because it was blown around in the wind. The boys discussed this.

- Jack made a new tribe where they painted themselves and where savages. Ralph and Piggy where some of the only ones left so they tried to join. Simon wanted to tell them that the monster wasn't real but the boys thought he was a monster and killed him.
- Jack stole Piggy's glasses so that they could make their own fire. Piggy and Ralph went to ask Jack for his glasses back but some kid crushed Piggy along with the conch with a huge rock.
- Jack wanted to get rid of Ralph so bad that they chased him across the whole island and lit it on fire. Then a naval officer arrives.
