- Well what is the difference between the Product of Powers Property and the Power of a Product Property?
- The Power of a Product Property is a little different. When you are multiplying two numbers you raise all of them to a power.

- What is the RationalExponent Property?
- The Rational Exponent Property is when the exponent is a fraction. The numerator represents the power of the number.
- The denominator of the fraction represents the root of the number. So 8^2/3 would be 2^2. Then that would turn into 4.
- Quotient of Powers Property
- What is the next property of exponents?
- It is called the Quotients of Powers Property. It means when you divide exponents with the same base you just subtract the exponents. So 2^4 / 2^2 would be 2^2.
- Zero Exponent Property
- So what is the next property of exponents called?
- It’s called the Zero exponents property. So when any number is raised to the 0 power it equals 1.
