- The technology available allows for growth of independence and active partaking in society, such as being in the work force. Occupational doors have been opened for non-verbal people, like Jen, thanks to AAC programs.
- Since many students with ASD prefer using technological devices, the AAC programs can help develop their communicative abilities and technological skills.
- AAC Technology can be implemented at such a young age, like for Maya. But can be helpful and used at any stage in life!
- While word books can be helpful to build the foundations of communication, the progression towards a AAC program can be helpful in communicating more words across various settings and emotions with ease.
