- Once upon a time, there was a dashingyoung man. Batara Guru Sahala was his name. He enjoyed fishing.

- One day, Batara Guru became enraged with his daughter. He couldn't keep his rage under control. He yelled angrily and sent the word of fish to his daughters.
- One day, he caught a fish. He was surprised to find out that the fish could talk. The fish begged him to set it free.
- The daughters were in tears. They tracked down their mother and told her about it. The mother was irritated. Batara Guru reneged on his promise.
- Human, please have mercy on me and do not eat me! If you set me free, I'll promise to become your wife.
- One day, he caught a fish. He was surprised to find out that the fish could talk. The fish begged him to set it free.
- The earth then began to tremble. Volcanoes began to erupt. The earth created a massive crater. People thought the large hole had turned into a lake. The lake is then known as Toba Lake.
- Batara Guru couldn't take it anymore. He let the fish go. The fish transformed into a stunning woman as soon as it was free. She drew a lot of attention from Batara Guru. He was smitten by the fish-woman. The woman desired to marry him and stated that Batara Guru was required to keep the secret, which she had been a fish.
- Tell me this isn't real ?!
- Please don't be afraid; I was cursed, which is why I became a fish, but you saved me, and for that I will be your wife.
- Shut up fishes !
- What did you just say Dad?
- HONEY I'M SORRY IT WAS MISTAKE!
