- I arrived at 9:30 am because I had to drop my children off at school, during my lunch time I took the usual two hours break, but at the end of the day I finally got reprimanded by my new boss, According to him I arrived too late in the morning and I took too long to eat unlike in America. Being used to starting at 8 am and having a break of 30 minutes maximum.
- I arrived I addressed my superior as usual and familiarized my colleagues with my superior, we explained the different forms of respect at work between France and england
- It is much easier to work in France. Thanks to the right to disconnect, I am not disturbed outside my working hours. It allows me to reconcile personal and professional life, while fighting against the risk of burnout. But this is not the case in the United States and it is not surprising given the place occupied by the screens, the applications and the associated services, in a city like New York. The adoption of such a law cannot then be done.
- I have a habit every morning when I arrive at work to greet my colleagues with whom I am close with a hi or hello* while giving them a kiss.For the simple colleagues without any affinities I say to them simply but politely hello*.However, the new boss reprimanded me justifying this as a complete lack of professionalism.According to him, a company is not the place for such greetings. In addition, he believes that the noise made during the kiss is unbearable and could disturb the other employees who would therefore be distracted.
