- Before the french revolution, France was divided into three classes that were called estates. The first estate was called clergy, the second was the nobility and the third was everyone else. The system was very unfair because the third estate paid all the taxes.
- Napoleon tries to invade Russia
- The king was caught trying to escape to an Austrian boarder but he was recognized and captured. Soon after they were in a meeting and had to make the decision to exile him or execute him. they soon came to the decision to execute him and they brought him to the guillotine and killed him.
- tries to stop Europe from trading with blockade
- soon after the death of Louis the 16th is executed Napoleon is crowned emperor and he had done great things in the beginning such as tear down 20,000 house and built 40,000 new ones, started the first vaccination program and he cleaned up the streets of france.

- this here is one of the bad things he has done because he tried to invade Russia and when he went there he had 400,000 men and when he came back he only had 5,000. This was due to the fact that they caught illnesses and some died from starvation, for the Russians knew that the french would go to a village for food so they burned some of their villages down. When the Russians seen the french at their lowest that's when they attacked them
- Napoleon was trying to stop Europe from trading with a blockade but it doesn't work and he gets sent to an deserted island.
- Later on a new leader arises and his name is Louis the 18th
