- This interaction between Agamemnon and Achilles shows the heated argument about each others death. They both think they they were more honorable then the other. This caused a large fight as Hermes brings soles into the underworld.
- My death was more honorable you disgrace
- If only you had died your death in the full flushof the glory you had mastered —died on Trojan soil! (24.32-33)

- In this scene, Odysseus messes with his father, Laertes, after nearly 20 years since they last saw each other. Odysseus tries to pretend that.he is someone that Laertes has never seen before. This trick was played to see if Odyseus' father would mess with him.

- This scene the suitors parents come for revenge. They begin to yell and try to fight Odysseus for the things that they did to their beloved children. Once again Odysseus is outnumber and has a lot of people angry at him.
- Or we’ll hang our heads forever,all disgraced, even by generations down the yearsif we don’t punish the murderers of our brothers and our sons! (24.479-481)
