Listen up crew mates. We are on this voyage to find gold and safely get it back to the king and queen back in Spain.
What's going on out there?
ROOOOOOOOOOR!
Nothing I can't handle!
Hand over the gold, or else!
Yes your majesty. Please don't hurt us.
We had just left Spain, our home country, and I asked my crew mates to use the led weights to measure the depth of the sea so that nothing will go wrong on our journey. My old friend told me to beware of the sea monsters out there, but, who actually believes those stories. There just tales. One of my crew mates offered to let me barrow his compass and all I said was, "Oh, of course! Without it we wouldn't know which way to go. North, South, East, or West."
I guess my old friend was telling the truth. I can't believe this is happening. It is such a nightmare. Three of the worst things that could happen to you on a voyage are happening all at the same time. A sea monster, a giant floating mountain, and a huge storm. I wish my crew mates were out here to help me steer the ship, but my credit must come from this voyage, not their's. I told my crew mates to measure the angle of the sun by using my cross staffs, but they can't measure the angle of the sun if you can't see the sun.
We finally made it to shore. A shore that we did not know of. We had no idea where we were, but who cares, we found the gold. When we got there, there were some unwanted visitors guarding the gold. Apparently someone already claimed this gold, but it's not their's any more. We threatened them and it worked. We left that island with great hope and joy. Once we got back to the king and queen we would have all the credit. We have saved Spain!
