- Lady Macbeth had gotten the guards drunk till they passed out
- i'll go no more i am afraid to think what i have done.

- why did you bring the daggers from the place? they must lie there

- Lady Macbeth set the daggers ready for Macbeth and she would've killed Duncan herself if Duncan didnt look like her father sleeping

- Macbeth killed Duncan but forgot to plant the weapon and smear the blood so Lady Macbeth says she will plant the daggers and smear the blood(she leaves with the daggers and plants them
- Lady Macbeth returned from planting the daggers and tells Macbeth to wash his hands
- Macbeth and his wife hear knocking so Lady macbeth tells Macbeth to get on his night clothing to act like they were asleep
