Storyboard Description

Summary: Benvolio and Mercutio plan to take Romeo to the Capulet mask party to introduce him to women other than Rosaline. When they arrived at the party, Tybalt recognized Romeo's voice and pulled his rapier on him. Capulet ceased the violence and told Tyblat to let him be. They made it into the house and Romeo saw Juliet across the room. He fell in love and immediately walked over to talk to her. After sharing a romantic couplet, they kissed. Romeo says "Sin from my lips? O trespass sweetly urged! Give me my sin again.", Juliet replied '"Then have my lips the sin that they have took."After this Romeo left the party with a new love. The nurse took Juliet to the side to inform her that her newfound lover was a Montague. Juliet was very sad because her lover is from her only enemy. Scene Explanation: This scene is vitally important to the play because it kickstarts the romance between Romeo and Juliet. It also presents the problem of the family feud, when Juliet finds out about it she is devastated. The family feud shows how difficult the love will be. This feud also plays a big role at the end of the story.
