- After Jesus got baptised the Holy spirit led him into the desert so that the devil could test him.
- NO
- Jesus was going to stay in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights. The devil tells Jesus to turn stone into bread to feed himself. Jesus knows that he needs to obey God.
- Go away Satan
- The devil then took him to Jerusalem and made him stand on the highest point of the temple. The devil told him to jump off because if you are Gods son then the angels will save you.
- Jesus refuses The scriptures also say don't try and test the God With throwing himself off the temple would prove that God would catch him. Jesus cared more about doing what God asked him to do.
- The Devil then took Jesus up to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms on earth and there power. I will give you all this power if you bow down and worship me said the Devil. Go away Satan replied Jesus the scriptures say worship the Lord your God and serve only him.
- The Devil left Jesus and the angels came to save him. Jesus was exhausted and hungry, but he had won the battle and hadn't given in to the Devils temptations. He was ready to begin his mission given to him by his father.
