- This was when Daniel Shays came home after fighting in the Revolutionary War, only to not be paid for his service, and instead, owing the government more than he can afford.
- Man.. I hate the government. Why don't I get paid for my service and fighting in that war, but I'M the one owing money to THEM? I say, what a SCAM!
- Everybody, grab WEAPONS!
- After Shay gathered about 1,500 citizens to rebel against Massachusetts, they decide to go to an armory to gather weapons, only to fail their mission, with few dead, most injured, and everyone else fleeing the scene.
- Aagh!
- Good lord, Thomas got SHOT!!
- I'm outta here!
- Ya know.. this whole "Articles of Confederation" thing isn't really working out so well.
- William, now's not the best time to be givin' out SANDVICHES!
- After Shay fled into hiding in Vermont, and the rebels disbanding, the government starts to rethink on the Articles of Confederation and they start to realize how much it SUCKS.
- Yeah.. I know. this was a stupid idea.
