- A Constitution is the direction of a country. A constitution tells what kind of government the country has, how it functions, how a country's laws are made, and the rights and responsibilities of citizens.

- The rule of law means laws are fair, nobody is above the law, and they're followed. Government leaders and the president have to follow it. Citizens feel safe that the government doesn't have the power to do whatever it wants.
