I wonder why the boat started to move back when she jumped off the boat
Ex.An example of newtons 3rd law is when a space ship goes into space. Say for examplethe moon. The fuel pushes it but but it stays like that because of the opposite reaction.
Because of Newton's third law, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The action me jumping off had a reaction of the boat moving back.
How come the boat moved when you jumped?
Which one do you think will take more energy to kick?
Lets see
DefinitionF-m*aWhich means the more mass something hasthe more force it will take to move and the more accelerationit will have is based on its mass.
The small one took less force to kick because it has less mass but the large one has more mass so it took more mass. That's why one has more speed than the other. This is Newton's second law.
Why did the small one go further and faster?
Newton's first law is also know as the law of inertia. Until a new unbalanced force acts on the object nothing would really happen which would be the same as an balancedforce.
Hey wait my bike !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How come the bike keeps on going even though no one's on it.
It's because of Newton's first law. A motion at rest will stay at rest or motion in movement will keep on moving unless something stops it. In the case of this bike either me or friction from the sand will stop the bike
Yes it is but isn't the weight but the mass.
Thank you for finding it.
I know why it's called mass. It's because mass is the total matter we have and weight is the gravitational pull of something towards the Earth. So when someone says they're taking your weight there actually taking your mass.
