- We were all told the same story for years and years about what really happened with the treaty of Waitangi and the Maori had to live listening to it knowing that they had been ripped off not that they agreed to it, that is why the treaty of Waitangi is retold to every child every year in schools so that we understand the truth not the single story that was told for years before we decided to believe the Maori
- The chief was remembered forever but not for a good reason, him and his tribe watched the english take over everything they owned and twisted the country into their perfect vision, they felt ripped off for the rest of their lives.
