- this guy named frank wills discovered a taped lock on a door in the watergate apartment.he then left and came back to find out that someone tried to break in.they soon discovered that it was 5 men part of the creep organization that attempted to break in after all everybody denied the white horses involvement.
- time after the burglary has passes and nobody thought there was a link to the white house. The two young reporters decided to not let this case go and ran further investigations. They then started to question the 5 burglers and the leader of the creep organizaiton and eventually they owned up to it . it started to go on many reports all over and nixons secretary were doing anything to get him back to win the election.
- the five burglers were soon sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison. After that the acting director of the fbi resigned after admitting he destroyed the watergate evidence. John dean revealed that Jon mitchell nixons campaign manager had ordered the break in and that the white house was covering up the involment.he also testified that the president was giving hush money to keep
