- Farmers could not get an adequate number of laborersneeded to work in their fields. Also, the nationwide lockdowncame at an unfortunate time for farmers, as it was the harvest season for therabi(winter) crop. The lockdown createdboth a shortage of labor and equipment
- I am not able to grow my crops for the winters! What am I to do?
- During the lockdown (2020), farmers got about 16% less of their vegetables and flowers worth.
- I used to sell this for Rs. 20,000 but now, I sell it for about Rs. 3500 less.
