- Academic Dishonesty Storyboard
- Make sure to complete all 10 questions by the end of the day!
- An ILA teacher assigns homework for her class. The homework contains 10 questions and is required to be submitted by the end of the day.
- That's a great idea! It's okay if we cheat anyways.
- I have a great idea! Lets each answer 5 questions and swap answers so that it would be easier to complete the assignment!
- Two students by the name "Chuckie" and "Tommy" decide to cheat even though they know it is the wrong thing to do.
- That really isn't fair! My class and I worked so hard to focus in class and to master the ILA topic while they are making easy 100s.
- A student from their same class notices their conversation on cheating and gets really upset that they get free answers while everyone else worked hard, focusing in class.
- Scenario Questions:
- Who is cheating in your scenario? Chuckie & Tommy as they both are swapping answers.
- Would you consider this cheating? Why or why not?I would consider this as cheating since it is not fair that these two students swap answers just to finish their homework fast and make it easy to do when they don't even understand the concept. I also think this because the other students worked hard and focused in class while Chuckie and Tommy didn't and tried to get an easy 100.
- How did they cheat?They cheated by swapping answers for their homework even though it wasn't allowed.
- How would you handle this situation if you were placed in this situation?
- If I was to be placed in this situation, I would make sure to let the teacher know privately so that she/he could take care of the situation.
