- Why do I not get paid just as much as the male teachers ?
- It is because you are a women and you don't deserve it.
- Agnes MacPhail has been elected to be in the Canadian house of commons
- Agnes MacPhail was a school teacher in Canada. She taught children for 10 years in Pegg's school (until 1920).
- She realized that she wasn't getting the same pay as other men teacher's, thats why she tried talking it through but it didn't work. so then she tried getting the power to by entering the government.
- Soon she got elected to be the first women to be in the Canadian house of commons in 1921 and made it to history.
- Thank you for fighting for our rights
- She changed many parties throughout her journey and became more power full each time until she settled for Cooperative Commonwealth Federation.
- She fought for equal pay for women for doing the exact same job as men.
- I am here to fight for equal pay for women for doing the exact same work as men
- Everybody thanked her for fighting for women rights and everything else she did.
