Storyboard Text
- I am the evil shogun of Japan. I make everyone obey me and if they don't I make them suffer. I make many strict rules including exclusion laws so that I can stay in power!
- I am a daimyo, who just left my family from Edo. I work for the shogun who makes me do alternate attendance. I don't have enough time or money to create a tyranny. I control local affairs and make sure that my domain is running properly.
- I am a Japanese warrior known as a samurai. My master is the daimyo. I follow his commands and keep order in his domain. I'm also well respected in society because I work hard. I get extremely bored when there isn't crime to fight.
- Hello there, I am a peasant who grows rice for everyone in society. I am also respected by most others in society. Sadly, I am highly taxed, so now I can't buy some of the items I need. Not only this but, I can't have what I make. For example, I make rice but I can't have rice wine.
- I am an artisan who makes helpful objects for the Japanese to use. Though I make high-quality products I am considered lower than peasants because I make products with materials made from others. My son will take over my job once I pass on.
- I am a merchant who sells wonderful and helpful objects to the Japanese people. I buy these items from artisans to sell at my shop. I used to be at the bottom of the hierarchy. Lately, people have been buying more items from me, so now I'm more respected.
