Romeo and Juliet
Storyboard Text
- While Romeo is hiding in the garden, he notices Juliet standing above him on the balcony.
- But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
- Juliet is unaware that Romeo is listening and she confesses her love for Romeo.
- O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I’ll no longer be a capulet.
- Romeo frightens Juliet as he jumps out of his hiding place. He then reveals that he was listening to her the whole time. He swears to take her by her word and be called something other than “Romeo” if that’s what it takes to win her heart.
- When Juliet sees Romeo she remind him that he could be put to death if he gets seen by her family. Romeo says that he would risk anything to see her, but Juliet is just wondering how he found her.
- By love who did first prompt me to inquire he lent me counsel and i lent him eyes.;
- How did you find me???
- O Romeo, I must admit thou hast made me blush. But how do I know your feelings for me are real?We just met.
- Because I love you! I have to go before anyone finds me, I’ll see you back here again tomorrow.
- Juliet admits she’s bushing but wants to know if Romeos love is real. However, she doesn’t want him to think she is easy or quickly won. But she also didn’t mean for him to overhear her confessing her love for him earlier.
- Romeo walks away leaving Juliet feelings loved and happy. She hopes to see Romeo again soon.
