I'm here to tell you something important.... But before that, let's take a walk!
Howdy, you can call me John.
My father owned this land, sadly he's passed away...
Maybe it ain't much, maybe it is.But—I'm more than obliged to take care of my family's land, I like it here. It's a peaceful life.
Up and left me a few hundred acres of land that he owned, he was a farmer—like me.
Take a seat kiddo.
It suggests we may reach a point of no return—calling it a 'Code Red for Humanity'...Scary right?
You read about that new UN climate report?
I heard we've really done it this time, global warming is rising steadily because of how much greenhouse gases we humans are producing daily.
Just some slight increase in global temperature by the degrees is enough to effectively melt ice caps to cause rising sea level—which in turn creates more disasters.
In fact we may already be late, but while I am saying how great the problem is...
Natural disasters such as flooding, heat waves, famine, droughts. Everyone is affected as a consequence.
I would like to remind you that we have actually solved a climate crisis similar to this before, ever wonder why we never hear about the holes in the ozone layer anymore?
The UN Climate Report of 2021 claims this is a "new high" and we need to act now before it's too late.
The world actually banded together and solved it.
Why am I saying this? Hope, kiddo.I think we can still fix this if we do that again—another miraculous victory for us! Another achievement that should not be forgotten.
*Sigh* that's a lot to take in, I wouldn't want any of this to go to waste—everything my family worked on. Climate change should be everyone's problem, that's why I'm telling you.
Scientists, politicians, the common man cooperated and they delivered a full recovery of the ozone layer—to this day still recovering.
