- Hello Jeff, Chantel, Ali, David, Amelia and Sarah. I am Miss Lamborghini. I will be your sewing teacher. I will say some safety rules that you need them while you are sewing.
- Yep!
- Now go to a sewing machine and only one person at each sewing machine, which is the first safety rule. Understood?
- Jeff another safety rule, don't cut the power cord while using a sewing machine.
- Because you might electrocute your self
- Why?
- Wow I don't want that to happen
- Wow that's good for me then
- Nice Chantel, you are doing the next safety rule which is to tie long hair back so your hair doesn't get cut off or prevent other accidents
- How will it affect us?
- What do you know, you learn something every day
- Amelia and Sarah another safety rule for you is to not put your finger near the needle while using a sewing machine
- For example, say your sewing machine is on and for some reason you put your finger under the needle, you can push the pedal and your finger will have a hole.
- You had a bite or two now go put it away or in the bin!
- Ali no food or drinking while in the sewing room or even worse while you are sewing. That's another safety rule.
- But I was hungry

- David don't be afraid to ask for help and don't forget to turn off the sewing machine while it's not being used . That will be my last two rules for today
