- Saul was now King! Prophet Samuel told Saul to be kind and care for the poor. Saul was also told not to do things only for himself. Saul said that he will never forgot what Prophet Samuel has told him.
- People of Israel, you have elected Saul, Son of Kish as your King!

- When King Saul was working in the field when 2 men came up to him from the a town in the north. They told him that the ammonites have surrounded their town and agreed to their treaty. The ammonites were crazy people who wanted to pluck out the right eye of all the residence.
- We only have 7 days to give them an answer, and if we don't agree then they will attack our town and kill everyone.Please save us, we have nowhere else to go.
- Thank you Lord.
- I will take care of it and God will take care of you.
- King Saul assembled a large army to threaten the people of Israel. The Israelites attacked the ammonites and WON the war in a very short time.
- The ammonites are going to kill everyone in town so we must attack to protect our people. As soon as you hear the trumpet blow, ATTACK!!
