- King Acrisius does not want his daughter to get married and have children because he is scared they will be more powerful and over throw him.
- Since Acrisius felt threatened he locked Danae in a tower so that she would never have children to over rule him.
- Zeus appears to Danae in her tower and she ends up having a baby. King Acrisius finds put about his daughter having a child and is angry.
- Acrisius throws Danae and Perseus on a raft with no food or water hoping that they would die. The second day of being on the raft they floated into an island. The king of the island let Danae and Perseus stay and live on the island.
- Perseus grew up and after many years King Polydectes was ready to get rid of Perseus so he could marry Danae. The king asked people on the island to bring him wedding gifts knowing that Perseus would not be able to. Perseus told the king he would bring him the head of Medusa
- Perseus went to the top of a hill asking his father to help him instead of Zeus Perseus's half brother Hermescame down to help Perseus find Medusa. He brought a pair of Talaria from Athene so that Perseus could fly
