- That morning we arrived at my uncle's house for family dinner.
- γεια σας! I thought I heard you guys out here. Come in, come in!
- Why are you so excited all the sudden?
- I'm so excited for lunch!
- Because every time we are with the family I feel more Greek!
- Everyone was gathered around a table full of delicious authentic Greek dishes.
- Everyone look who has arrived!
- *Chatter from all sides of the room*
- το παστίτισο ήταν θαυμάσιο της οποίας η συνταγή είναι;
- Σας ευχαριστώ! Είναι μια παλιά συνταγή οικογένειας
- "Thank you! It is an old family recipe."
- "The pastitsio was amazing! Whose recipe is it?"
- Pappoú look at me!
- What is going on? I never understand what they're saying.
- I wish I was more Greek...
- Everyone into the living room for dancing!
- Metaxia come dance with us!
- You'll never learn if you don't try!
- I can't. I don't know how. I'm not Greek enough.
- Of course you are!
- Come on! We'll teach you!!
- No one there thought I was any less Greek. That idea was all in my head. All I had to do was include myself because I was just as Greek as anyone there.
