- Hello in the barn! This is FBI Special Agents Conner Perigo and Seth Harrignton.
- Sir? We're looking for Ms. Adrienne Jeffries. We would like to enter.
- The next morning they arrived at Adrienne Jeffries's ranch. A modest-sized house sat in the middle of multiple corralled areas. Conner knocked on a door that could use another coat of paint. No one answered. They tried at the barn. Conner could hear a man talking inside the barn, although couldn't make no sense of what he was saying. Both Conner and Seth were immediately on alert.
- Rick Vincent opened the door for them, Conner immediately asked where Ms. Jeffries was, Rick said she's not here right now.
- Seth seemed about to ask another question when a female joyful voice from the outside of the house interrupted him. She stopped talking when she saw Conner and Seth. The young woman looked almost panicked. Conner stepped forward toward her with his arms held out soothingly.''I'm Agent Perigo. This is Agent Harrington. We're from the FBI.'' Seth asked if she is Adrienne, she said yes. Conner was shocked because the girl looked beautifully young, he expects Ms. Jeffries to look old.
- After threatening Adrienne, she finally agreed. An hour later, just before lunch, Adrienne watched Agents Perigo and Harrington drive away. She had been given instruction about where and when to report tomorrow, and had assured them she would be there.
- The next day Adrienne had gone into town. Her mind is still blank about the agreement because she knew that Vincent is worried about her decision.Adrienne drove herself into San Francisco. The drive was relatively uneventful, but she found herself getting more and more uptight as she got closer to the city. Already she already missed her little ranch and the serenity it offered.
- Upon entering the building, she was escorted up to the Violent Criminal Apprehension Program Officer's. As she entered the main area she saw Conner. Conner escorted her to the office while walking she says she wants assurance that all charges or warrants against Rick Vincent will be dropped once I help you. Conner agreed and proceed to discuss the case.
